Pan Fried Fish

1-2 filets of white fish (depending on size and what looks fresh at the store_

Vegetable Oil

½ C Bread Crumbs

2 Eggs

Flour

Salt and pepper to taste

 

In a large sauté pan add vegetable oil to equal ¼” deep in the bottom of the pan, bring pan to medium-high heat

Pat fish filets dry and dust with a few pinches of flour also season with salt and pepper to taste

Egg Wash of 2 eggs with 1 Tablespoon of water, mix together

Dredge dusted fish in egg wash, then dredge in bread crumbs

Immediately place in hot pan, add the fish carefully to prevent oil splatter.

Cook fish for 4-6 depending on the size, until golden brown, flip fish with a spatula as to not let it break, and cook for another 4-6 minutes until done

 

Serve with side salad and tartar sauce

 

Tartar Sauce

1-2 large scoops of mayo

1 scoop of pickle relish

¼ of fresh lemon, squeezed

A few splashes of hot sauce

Mix and serve.
