Grocery List – Week 5
Is it spring yet? The calendar says yes, but the weather here in Dallas is still trying to make up its mind. And with that thought I guess our menus and shopping for this week are in the same predicament, and this week’s grocery list is for: Baked Polenta (1 meal and leftovers), Pork Scallopini and Garden Salad (1 meal), Rotisserie Chicken and Classic Tabbouleh Salad (1 meal and leftovers), and lastly Waldorf Salad (2 servings).

Grocery List – Week 5
Produce
2 medium yellow onions – essential
1 head of garlic (if needed) – essentials
2-3 roma tomatoes
1 cucumber
1 small bunch of green onions
1 medium bag baby spinach
1 small bunch of celery or 3 stalks if available per piece
1 zucchini
2 lemons
1 bunch parsley
1 bunch mint
2 apples
1 pint misc berries
Meat
1 rotisserie chicken
1 small piece of pork tenderloin (have the butcher cut you the amount you need)
1-2 artisan sausage links of your choice
Dairy
1 small block of hard cheese to add to salads
milk (if needed) – essential
yogurt (if needed) – essential
Dry
1 C bulgar wheat or cracked wheat
1 C polenta
bread crumbs
Misc
1 mayo (if needed)
1 small bag raisin (I would buy less than a cup in bulk if available)
