Grocery List – Week 2

Hello all, I hope that you are have a great week so far!  This weeks shopping list is designed to enhance this weeks recipes that vear a bit towards Italy, the recipes include: Chicken Caccitore (1 meal and leftovers), Pan-Seared Salmon with Almond Green Beans (1 meal), Classic Stuffed Peppers (1 meal and leftovers), and lastly an Arugula Salad and White Pizza (1 meal and leftovers).  Delicious.

Again I have left breakfast preferences and how to use the leftovers up to you this week, but do not forget to refer to the essentials list for ideas.

Grocery List – Week 2
Produce
2 medium yellow onions – essential
1 red bell pepper
2 yellow bell peppers
3-4 roma tomatoes
1 small head of garlic – essential
1 bunch arugula (or salad greens)
⅓ lb (one large handful) green beans
1 punch parsley
1 small bunch fresh basil (if available)
3 tangerines – honey tangerines are great this time of year
1 pint berries
1 small bunch red grapes (do not feel like you have to commit to an entire pre-bagged amount, take what you think you will eat)
Meat
1 ¼ lb bone-in chicken breast
5-6oz ground beef
6-8oz salmon filet
sandwich meat
Dairy
milk (if needed) – essential
small container / log of feta or goat cheese
1 medium piece fresh mozzarella
(I would also buy plain yogurt to have on hand for breakfast)
Dry
1 C rice (bulk or pre-packaged)
1 loaf bread (if needed)
Misc
1 frozen pizza (white pizza is best either vegetarian or with chicken breast)
1 can chopped tomato (if needed) – essential
salad dressing (if needed) – essential
1 small jar capers
2-3oz sliced almonds (bulk if available)
