What’s on TV?
So people always ask me if there are any chef’s I watch on TV and more often it is even a bit more direct. “Do you ever watch Kitchen Nightmare’s with Gordon Ramsey, do chefs really act like that?” From there my answer is pretty standard, “No I don’t watch the show, and yes some chefs really act like that, but so do some accountants and dentist”
So I guess the more interesting question is, do I watch any food shows and who do I look up to and trust what they are saying. (more)
Cheese… Holy Cow!
Let me first preface this post with a simple statement, I am a big fan of cheese, so much so I believe it should be its own food group or at least should be considered as meal in and of itself. The idea this week was fairly simple, I wanted to explore the wonderful world of cheese and then share some tasting notes with you. So when I tell you that I stumbled upon the best soft cheese I have ever eaten while tasting to be able to write this post, it might seem like something of an exaggeration, but I take cheese seriously and this my friends is no exaggeration. Lemon Juice
Tonight I have a quick post that came to mind when I was trying to utilize a large amount of lemons and limes before they went bad. I had such a large quantity on hand, because these lemons and limes were the stars of the first official “The Single Plate” photo shoot.
Since I bought two dozen lemons and limes and don’t go through near that many in an average week, I have halved (more)
